Muzukashii
Literal Translation
(難しい) Literally "difficult." One of the most reliable indirect refusals in Japanese. "Chotto muzukashii" (a little difficult) is probably the most commonly used polite no in the language. When a Japanese person says this in response to a request, the request has been declined.
