Yixing Teapot

Literal Translation
A small clay teapot from Yixing in Jiangsu Province, made from zisha clay. Considered the ideal vessel for brewing oolong and pu-erh because the porous clay absorbs tea oils over time, seasoning the pot and enriching subsequent brews. A well-seasoned Yixing pot is worth more than the tea it makes.
